Tastings at Monochrome Wines
In compliance with the current State and local Covid-19 guidelines we are currently conducting in-person tastings. With the uptick of Covid cases, as of 8/5/21 we will be conducting all of our tastings OUTDOORS until further notice. Our tastings are available at: 11am, 12:15pm, 1:30pm, 2:45pm, and 4:00pm on the patio. As always, our tastings are offered by appointment only and we are restructuring our business conduct to accommodate the heat, the pandemic, and our small staff. Maximum group size is six people unless a larger group is approved in advance. We appreciate your understanding.
Please notify us in advance if there will be any small children or minors in your group. We are dog-friendly so long as the dogs are well-behaved.
You will have the opportunity to interact directly with the owner/winemaker, Dave McGee, learn about Monochrome, our wines, and winemaking style. Feel free to ask any general questions you may have about wine or winemaking during the appointment.
Tastings are $20 per person, but waived with purchase of two bottles of wine.
To insure your safety and for the safety of our staff we will have the following requirements:
-Tastings shall be by appointment only. We will not be taking walk-ins.
-Our tasting appointments will be available Thursday-Sunday at 11:00am, 12:15pm, 1:30pm, and 2:45pm, and 4:00pm to allow for sufficient cleanup/sanitation time in between groups.
-When you arrive at the appointed time, please wait outside the patio/tasting room until your table is ready, properly cleaned, and you have been invited to sit.
-Each tasting session will be 45 minutes (the same as our regular tastings in the Monochrome tasting room).
-Outdoors, only customers who came together may be seated at that table. A maximum of 6 customers may be seated at one table.
-Mask guidelines will be updated and enforced as needed for the safety of our customers and our staff.
-Customers will need to comply with restrictions and social distancing standards. You will be refused service if you do not adhere to safety requirements.
-You must be 21 years old or older to purchase wine and/or participate in these tastings.
